Flee from Temptations of the Flesh

I am sick and tired of people saying that homosexuality is not in the Bible. That it's not a sin. Yet here it is, plain as day in this verse. But people will justify their immorality by saying that it's okay to continue with their homosexual acts now because, "we are now sanctified, washed and justified, by the blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." They will twist that verse around saying that Jesus made it okay for them to continue doing what they are doing; a man laying with a man and a woman with a woman.

But all this statement means is, with repentance and belief in Jesus, that we are washed clean of our sins. That we are forgiven because we are human and we sin. That is what we do. We sin and that is why we pray every day to be washed of it(In the name of Jesus). But it's a disgrace and blasphemy to keep doing these sins when you know it is wrong, but go on doing it because you feel you can do whatever you want with your body. But if you fall into your temptations and are guilty, then I am sure you will be forgiven. As long as you're alive you would be forgiven of your sinful ways. Every sinful deed would be washed away and forgiven because that is how powerful God's love is! He gave His only begotten son to save the world. Not to perish in the pits of Hell, but to have everlasting life in the Kingdom of Heaven. But we have to turn away from our sin. We still have to obey His laws and pray for forgiveness everyday and talk to Him in prayer.

Do we sometimes slip and fall from our bodies lustful, passionate temptations in life? Yes, we all do. I do. Especially in this day in age of sex being the main focal point in advertising and tv shows, and pornography being just a click a way on the computer. We are tempted every day. Those temptations don't come from God, but from the devil himself. Who else tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden? It was the devil. The spiritual realm is more real than people may think. People joke about it and try to test God with it, or play games that they don't know what they're messing with; such as the Ouja Board and that new phenomenon "Charlie Charlie."  We are at a battle between good and evil. The government knows this, the celebrities in Hollywood know this because a majority of them all worship satan and sold their souls to the devil. Some people might say I might be wacked or need help. But when God starts pouring His wrath on this Nation(which he already is because of gay marriage being the tip of the iceberg with God. It is probably the biggest abomination to Him), you won't be thinking that then. You'll be repenting while scared to death at the last minute.

God has been so gracious to us with time as far as coming to repentance. He has given us so much time to come to Him. But eventually, like people who push us away that we try to ask for forgiveness, but still continue to push us away, like us humans, God will eventually have enough of this rebellion against Him and push you away from Him. Not because He wanted to, but because you rejected Him. Just like the people in our lives who pushed us away and refused our forgiveness, we eventually don't want anything to do with them because they rejected us. So why should it be any different with God?! When you are dead, that is it! You won't get anymore chances.

My Biblical World View

I believe in the Bible 100%. One of the few people in the world that do. A small percentage of us. It is sad, but this issue in our world hasn't changed one bit.

The apostles died for preaching about our saviour Jesus Christ. Many hated them and only about a handful from each city they preached in actually cared to listen and believe in what they had to say.

I've been reading the Book of Acts and what a wonderful account of the Apostles journey to witness and tell of the good news. But like I said, many were still stuck on their old beliefs and didn't want to give them up. Apostle James died for his faith. Peter and Paul were jailed and told many times to leave town. As you can see, these issues haven't changed. People are prideful in their lustful ways. The "it's my body and I can do what I want attitude." This was the same then as it is now.

This is happening again right before our eyes. Although the mainstream media won't tell you the stories of Christians dying for their faith or of those being persecuted. Like creationist preacher Kent Hovind who threatened the views of evolutionary thought and has been jailed for over a decade now. They won't talk about it because we live in a worldly society who goes against God and defies him.  No matter how much He has done for us, they still laugh and mock Him and say there is no God, and mock Jesus saying he wasn't real or he was just a man.

There is no reasoning with people when they get to this level of arrogance and anger. They have made up their mind. And they know the Bible is out there but yet refuse to listen. People know of God and Jesus. They just seemed to have ran away from the faith or church and become angry with God. Or think that you're somehow unintelligent for believing in some Being of higher power than you that created all things. But it's no different than believing that the universe was created out of nothing by no one; that the world somehow magically appeared and the human species some how evolved from monkeys. But that second idea has been the more logical approach in our society. It is the "world view" of how everything came to be. But not the Biblical world view that us, the minority believe. Or is it the minority that believe? Or is it because students are forced to believe in the Evolution theory, that they just go through these classes because they have to even though they believe in God's Creation?(that would be Fact and not just a Theory.)  That would be me and probably many college students out there. Still the minority, but we believers are still out there in the world.
