My Biblical World View
I believe in the Bible 100%. One of the few people in the world that do. A small percentage of us. It is sad, but this issue in our world hasn't changed one bit.
The apostles died for preaching about our saviour Jesus Christ. Many hated them and only about a handful from each city they preached in actually cared to listen and believe in what they had to say.
I've been reading the Book of Acts and what a wonderful account of the Apostles journey to witness and tell of the good news. But like I said, many were still stuck on their old beliefs and didn't want to give them up. Apostle James died for his faith. Peter and Paul were jailed and told many times to leave town. As you can see, these issues haven't changed. People are prideful in their lustful ways. The "it's my body and I can do what I want attitude." This was the same then as it is now.
This is happening again right before our eyes. Although the mainstream media won't tell you the stories of Christians dying for their faith or of those being persecuted. Like creationist preacher Kent Hovind who threatened the views of evolutionary thought and has been jailed for over a decade now. They won't talk about it because we live in a worldly society who goes against God and defies him. No matter how much He has done for us, they still laugh and mock Him and say there is no God, and mock Jesus saying he wasn't real or he was just a man.
There is no reasoning with people when they get to this level of arrogance and anger. They have made up their mind. And they know the Bible is out there but yet refuse to listen. People know of God and Jesus. They just seemed to have ran away from the faith or church and become angry with God. Or think that you're somehow unintelligent for believing in some Being of higher power than you that created all things. But it's no different than believing that the universe was created out of nothing by no one; that the world somehow magically appeared and the human species some how evolved from monkeys. But that second idea has been the more logical approach in our society. It is the "world view" of how everything came to be. But not the Biblical world view that us, the minority believe. Or is it the minority that believe? Or is it because students are forced to believe in the Evolution theory, that they just go through these classes because they have to even though they believe in God's Creation?(that would be Fact and not just a Theory.) That would be me and probably many college students out there. Still the minority, but we believers are still out there in the world.
